We certainly give thanks to God for our online ministry, which has benefited our worshippers in many ways. When I am ill or away, the availability of recordings also enables us to continue with the exhortations from God’s Word. Dear BPCWA worshipper, Over the past weeks, we have looked at the impact of God’s Word in our lives. We know the importance of God’s Word – it is not only for our spiritual well-being, but it is also essentially the commands of God, and obeying it is simply our obligation in the covenant we have with Him. Dear BPCWA worshipper, We have, over the past few pastorals, looked at the responses to God’s Word. It is, perhaps, a good time in the year to evaluate ourselves in the light of all we have heard and learned. After all, as the last pastoral concluded, hearing isn’t good enough. Hearing and understanding aren’t necessarily the difficult part of the Christian life. The end purpose of these is that we will be diligent and faithful doers of what we learn. Dear BPCWA worshipper, By God’s arrangement, last week’s pastoral closed with the verse from Luke 6:48-49 about 2 houses, one with a foundation on a rock and another on the earth. On the same day, God gave us an object lesson through the weather, with a severe weather warning for damaging winds in WA.
